We've given this a lot of thought - how to address the horrors of Charlottesville. These are such uncertain times, and it seems as though we could all do so much better as a whole if we thought (and acted) more inclusively. We leave you with this beautiful quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Not sure "Meet ClaraBelle Blue" is the right book for your little person? Perhaps these parents can convince you - from parents of typically abled children, to parents of children with Down's Syndrome, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and more...they've all come to know and love the beauty and value of having our book in their home. Order your copy today, or borrow it from your local library! (If they don't have it, you can ask them to order it)

It's that time folks! TGIF!! . . . . #weekend #tgif #fun #shenanigans #thankgoditsfriday #saturday #sunday #weekends #quittintime #yousurvived
The #REALClaraBelleBlue started 3rd grade today and we don't know if it's tears, or sweat running down our face. However, let us also say this: it is such an amazing feeling to drop your kid off with people who literally regard your child as if they are their own. When we went to the school yesterday to meet the teacher, we had a full-on welcoming committee. About 6 teachers and aides surrounded her giving her hugs and saying welcome back and giving her high fives. It was amazing. She was in heaven, and we were fighting back tears. We say all this to say that this is what inclusive education looks like. She's another kid there. They make her feel welcomed and loved the same as they would with any other child. And we are so blessed for it.
